Contemporary Art: How do you formally outline this art?

The phrase "art of the current day" is frequently used to characterise contemporary art, but is that all it is? Or is there more to it? By examining several works by well-known contemporary artists from throughout the globe, we will examine the realm of contemporary art. You'll have a better understanding of modern art by the time you're done. 

Modern art is distinctively contemporary, which makes it the ideal subject to research online. Because the art of the ancient and classical periods is so far from our modern reality, it can be challenging to relate to it (particularly when galleries are not nearby).

Definition of Contemporary Art 

Art created in the modern age is referred to as contemporary art. You inquire, "What is the present era?" Well, different art reviewers have different viewpoints. Some claim that contemporary art includes all works produced after World War II, while others argue that it only includes works produced after the 1970s. I propose that you define contemporary art as all artwork produced throughout the course of a typical human lifespan. Consequently, around 70 years from today. 

How Contemporary Art different from Modern Art? 

Many people mistakenly believe that modern art and contemporary art are the same, however this is untrue. The Famous Contemporary Artist are Bharti Kher, Zarina, Shilpa Gupta, Subodh Gupta, Anish Kapoor, Atul Dodiya, etc. Their work encompasses sculpture, installation, painting, photography, performance and many more.

Contemporary art is defined as art created in "our time," which is typically defined as from 1970 to the present. 

Artwork created between the 1860s and the 1970s is referred to as modern art. Because it signified a global transition from realism to abstractionism, modern art was important. 

This period saw the creation of many more experimental paintings, sketches, sculptures, and architectural works than its predecessors.
